Preparing for next season
Mowing season is in full swing and this is when we are our most busiest. Hopefully we have caught up or completed our spring rush of clean ups, and mulching. With two months of mowing season behind us and the phones calls have slowed down, this is the time we start to focus on the next season believe it or not. Customers flood our phones at the beginning of the season and some jobs we have to turn away. Just to the fact we can’t handle all the work. If you have made it to the blog page and have read this far I would like to say it is time for our customers now is a good time to think about projects for the next season but with a twist. We have a lot of customers calling for work which can actually be done in the off season. Yes. work that could have been done in the late fall and winter time. I get a lot of calls where customers have called other companies this time of year and have been turned away because there is Simply just to much work to be done and not enough hours in a week. jobs like spring clean ups, demo jobs such as removing shrubs, creating new beds and yes even doing plantings and installs. installs can be done at most times of the year. from fall to spring. Summer can be iffy with heat and forgetting to water the plants, but a lot of things can be done before the spring rush. Benefits to doing work before the spring rush and getting a jump on things is well… You get a jump on thigs and your able to make sure to get the jobs and projects done before all the companies get booked up. Also when companies are slowing down and all the leaves are cleaned up and the fall pruning has been completed companies still need to run and produce. This is a great time to typically get work done at a bit of a discount. Companies are willing to price a little cheaper when work is slow and not flooding in on a minute to minute bases so please keep this in mind. With that being said and mowing season in full swing I hope you all have a blessed day and we appreciate your business. Please give us a call or shoot us an email with any of your landscape and maintenance needs.
